Sylvia G.

Sylvia began to volunteer as a mealtime companion about 12 years ago. Since then, her role has expanded to other areas such as the Foundation, Medical Escorts, Auxiliary, Recreation and the Get Away Club. Actually, it's less time consuming to list the things that Sylvia doesn't do! Sylvia is involved in the facility most days of the week and has become well known to many, by face, if not by name. When she comes in we always look forward to seeing her big smile and infectious laugh. When asked why she volunteers, Sylvia states that she enjoys working with seniors. She also says that when she volunteers she is made to feel that her work is needed and valued. Thank-you for your hard work and dedication Sylvia.
