Computer Training Lab

Providing an Educational Opportunity

The Life and Learning Centre is a 10,000 square foot facility designed to meet Deer Lodge Centre's growing needs.
Housed within the Life and Learning Centre is a new Computer Training Lab. Providing educational opportunities for our staff continues to be paramount. The new Computer Lab will accommodate these learning opportunities and ensure our dedication to excellence and innovation.
The success of any training program is dependent, in part, on a professional learning environment. The new Computer Training Lab in the Life and Learning Centre has been designed with this in mind. Modern and ergonomic furniture, soft muted task lighting, climate controlled air system and high tech equipment all contribute to the students' comfort and stimulate a positive learning environment.

High Tech Equipment

The Computer Lab consists of 8 student workstations plus an Instructor workstation. The furniture has been designed for ergonomic comfort, including adjustable keyboard trays and multi-task chairs with adjustable height/tilt.

The new computer workstations provide first-class performance, ensuring a high degree of consistency and reliability. Each desktop is configured with the Windows 2000 operating system and the Microsoft Office 2000 suite. Other configurations can be requested.
