Inpatient Programs
The types of care and beds allocated to patients or residents
who have been admitted to Deer Lodge Centre for care and treatment.
Assessment & Rehabilitation
The Assessment and Rehabilitation program provides services
to individuals who have the potential to return to the community
with support after discharge. The program offers rehabilitation
services from an interdisciplinary team to help individuals
achieve and maintain their independence or to maximize function.

Chronic Care
The Chronic Care programs provide care to individuals who
require professional intervention and/or medical supervision.
The Neurosupportive Care unit
provides care to individuals who have sustained severe neurological
impairment associated with trauma or disease process. The
Respiratory Unit is for patients with respiratory disease
who require permanent oxygen therapy.

Personal Care
Personal Care is for individuals who require some degree of long-term care in a twenty-four hour supervised setting. The Special Care Unit provides a secure environment to care for the unique needs of individuals with dementia who are experiencing difficulties in the areas of perception, thought and memory.

Peritoneal Dialysis
The Peritoneal Dialysis program provides care to individuals
who require assistance in managing peritoneal dialysis.

Respite Care
The Respite Care program provides short-term admission to
provide a period of relief from the duties of care to family
members who are the primary caregivers for individuals living
in the community.
