Life and Learning Centre
The Worship Centre
Established in response to the changing mix of faith groups within
the Centre and community along with a larger patient population,
the Worship Centre can accommodate all faith groups in a comfortable
setting. The 3,036 square foot Centre consists of a main worship
space, a spirit room, meditation room and visiting clergy office.
All rooms have individually controlled sound systems that can be
linked for larger services or based on the faith group's need. The
Spirit Room is separately ventilated allowing for smudging ceremonies
or other faith group's traditions involving smoke. Additionally,
the Spirit Room can be used as an overflow area for large services
with a window facing the main worship room.
Spaces can be booked individually or in combination and are fully
supported by a broad range of on-site catering services. As with
the Learning Centre, pricing is competitive for rooms and catering
services.
Capacity
- Gathering Space: 80 people with the majority being in wheelchairs
(main worship room) 100 + set up in rows.
- Spirit Room: 15-20 depending upon set up requirements.
- Meditation Room: 1-4 people.
- Visiting clergy office: 2-3 people.
